Reimagining Alzheimer’s, Autism, and brain health — with equity at the center.
About Neurocognitiva
Empowering Minds, Transforming Lives-Neuro Cognitiva
NeuroCognitiva is a 501 3(c) nonprofit research and advocacy organization dedicated to transforming the future of Alzheimer’s, Autism, Parkinsons, MS, Depresión, PTSD, and neurocognitive care at large.
We were founded by a multidisciplinary team — a medical doctor, a U.S.-licensed attorney, and a mental health counselor — united by one mission:
To ensure that no family, professional, or community is left out of the neuroscience conversation.
We build bridges between underserved families, healthcare professionals, and global research institutions to drive forward a more inclusive, just, and effective brain health system.
Our mission
To empower underserved communities and underrepresented professionals in the fields of Autism, Alzheimer’s, and neurocognitive health by:
Aggregating global research data — especially from Hispanic and marginalized populations
Connecting families to bilingual support, funding, and early detection tools
Training and placing a diverse neurocognitive workforce
Advocating for justice in healthcare access and research representation
What Makes Us Different?
Inclusive Data Aggregation:
We gather clinical, cognitive, and genetic data from Latin America and the U.S. to address racial and cultural gaps in neuroscience.
Cross-Border Collaboration:
We partner with world-class universities like Universidad de Antioquia (Colombia) and U.S. institutions to break silos in Alzheimer’s and Autism research.
Family-Centered Tools:
From grant navigation to care access — we guide families step-by-step, in English and Spanish.
Workforce Equity:
We train bilingual healthcare workers, advocate for licensure equity, and place professionals in high-impact roles.
Justice-Driven Policy & Advocacy:
We fight for representation in data, dignity in diagnosis, and access to care across borders.
Transforming The Future Of Cognitive Health.
Our 7 Strategic Pillars For Impact
Inclusive NeuroData, Psychedelic Innovation & AI Equity
We’re building a bilingual NeuroData Commons to ethically collect and analyze patient-reported outcomes, biomarkers, and diagnostics from underrepresented communities.
Through AI-powered tools, we deliver early detection and culturally adapted care pathways — including access to psychedelic-assisted therapies like psilocybin, ibogaine, MDMA, and ketamine.
Trauma-informed consent and reentry protections ensure equity in every innovation.
Cross Border Research Bridge
We connect clinical researchers across the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean to eliminate racial and geographic gaps in neuroscience trials.
Together, we create more inclusive data and global equity in brain research.
Family Empowerment And Navigation
Navigating cognitive health shouldn't be a maze.
We provide personalized, bilingual tools to help families access early diagnoses, therapy programs, financial aid, and holistic wellness support — from neuro-nutrition to clinical trials.
Education, Certification & Holistic Brain Health
We offer culturally relevant CEU training and certification programs for caregivers, health workers, and educators in:
Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, MS & Autism support
NeuroNutrition, herbal medicine, and mind-body therapies
Latino traditional healing practices and trauma care
Workforce Development & Re-entry Inclusion
We build a neuro-trained, bilingual workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
Our model includes career pipelines for formerly incarcerated individuals with cognitive conditions — bridging public health with economic justice.
Sustainable Social Impact & Revenue Model
We generate sustainable revenue by:
Licensing our inclusive data sets and AI models
Offering certification programs and consulting to healthcare institutions
Every dollar is reinvested into programs that advance equity, ethics, and healing.
Justice Reform & NeuroAdvocacy (NeuroJustice)
We fight for justice where cognitive disability and incarceration collide.
Through legal training, reentry support, and policy advocacy, we ensure people are not punished for symptoms they can’t control.
Our Vision
A world where families from every background have access to quality brain health care — and where the next generation of scientists, therapists, and caregivers reflects the diversity of the world they serve.
